As I look out my lanai window, at the beautiful landscape before me, I realize how grateful I am for the effort and energy I expended in my career that brought me to this point in my life. The life I am experiencing now wasn’t even a glimmer in my mind’s eye. With this slight change in my perspective, I see everything anew. I’m also filled with gratitude for all the unknown people’s efforts that helped to make the scene outside a picturesque panoramic view. And this realization applies to everything -big and tiny- that helps make our everyday life easier. Even ramen noodles.
