Hi Nik. I signed for you were different from all the rest, the writing was closer to me (maybe because I am Portuguese, European, I do not know). You looked eager to experiment and share (and you did).
Also I liked a lot "be like water my friend" quote from Bruce Lee so your message resonated with me, I guess.
I like this model were a current and future reader participates.
Nowadays I see a shimmer of hope that in a wow Ai world you can come up with human meaningful steady advice.
As for why the book, or what it solves regarding balance. The search for balance is a decent worth it goal per si that benefits everyone without exception.
I liked the rythm and just about right depth and length of what you published back then. Not too short and still thought provoking.
Hope it helps. I am the one who offered to draw for you years ago, eager to help you in other publishing endeavor.
@rumagoso. Back then I learnt eagerness to contribute does not equate to value for others :)
So let's see what you will bring into the light next 2024.
It was a random signing at the time. I liked what I read and decided to follow through but it was the daily dose of relatable content backed up with wisdom and an interesting storytelling that kept me following.
Thank you so much Eddie, for your thoughts! Pretty sure I will start the daily emails again once I have a decent batch of chapters ready. That way I can test some in real-time as well. Let's see how it turns out!
Hey! Welcome back. I'm afraid I signed up to your newsletter just before you left to write that book. 😆 But, I signed up because you were recommended. You were popular. I liked the simplicity of the name and logo, and the whole idea of living a more praceful and balanced life. I thought I could learn from you. I have balance in my life, so my new challenge is adding in my new projects and dreams without losing my peace. Following onces dreams is exciting, but it also takes time and energy and yes.. BALANCE.
Hi! I have been a long-time reader of the Nik.Art daily newsletter but just recently subscribed to this Substack.
I find it amazing that you are going back to an old project to thoroughly finish it.
Managing multiple projects with different deadlines and timeframes can be challenging for me. I believe that developing a better sense of balance could help me with that. I 'm also wondering if finding a better sense of balance can help me reconcile things that are all important but of different natures, such as deep work and daily chores?
I associate balance with making space for things that are meaningful to me, such as creativity, health, and quality time with loved ones.
I'm looking forward to seeing how you approach those topics in the chapters !
